How to add an EWC Code

EWC codes are six-digit codes used to identify and classify waste according to how they have been produced. EWC codes are important for waste management, as they help to describe the waste being transported, handled, or treated.

Step 1

• From Skiptrak’s main menu “Click Tools”, “Lookup Tables”, and “EWC Codes” from the Tool Bar.

Step 2

• From the “EWC Summary”, where you will see your existing EWC Codes Click the “New” button. This will start a new record.

Step 3

• Complete the EWC details populating the code and the description of the waste, and then Click on the “Save” button.

• You can now see that your new service has been successfully added and is highlighted in blue.
