Services in SkipTrak are the work you do as a company. Examples are the skip sizes, bags and anything else you provide.
It’s important to have a basic set of items you can select to when creating jobs for your customers. The system will then become easier to use and will be more accurate.
Step 1
• Click the “Services” button from SkipTrak’s main menu.
Step 2
• From the “Services Summary”, where you will see your existing services. Click the “New” button. This will start a new record. On the following screen.
Step 3
• Complete the service details as required. 1st add the “Service Name”. The service name is going to be the service that you are providing. For example a 30 yard Ro Ro, or maybe it is a tipper or an 8 yard skip.
• Then add in “Standard Cost”, If required you can add in extra Zone charges as shown here.
• Then add in “Norminal Code” for your accounting software.
• “Weight Pricing” is the section where you can add the price you are charging for the weight of the service. In this example the 30 yard Ro Ro.
• “Rental Pricing” is the section that you would be charging the customer after the rental period has passed.
• The “Other Section” needs to be populated with the correct category. You will see from this example that we have selected the category of Ro Ro. The quantity Owned is how many of this service you currently own. For this example, we have selected 10. Now that all the sections for the service details have been completed. Click on “Save” button.
• You can now see that your new service has been successfully added and is highlighted in blue.
